FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: powder alloyed steel contains, wt %: silicon 0.01-3.0; manganese 0.01-10.0; chromium 16-30; nickel 0.01-5; (Mo+W/2) 0.01-5.0; cobalt 0.01-9; sulphur as high, as 0.5; nitrogen 0.6-10; (V+Nb/2) 0.5-14; (Ti+Zr+AI) as high, as 7; iron and impurities - the rest. Also, contents of nitrogen and contents of (V+Nb/2) are balanced relative to each other so, that contents of these elements are within the region restricted with coordinates A' [0.6; 0.5], B'[1.6; 0.5], G [9.8; 14.0], H [2.6; 14.0], in system of coordinates [N; (V+Nb/2)]. Upon quenching and tempering steel has micro-structure consisting of residual austenite, tempered martensite and solid phases, where residual austenite can amount up to 50 vol %, while solid phases consist of up to 10 vol. % of M2X, where M is basically corresponds to chromium, X is mainly nitrogen 5-40 vol. % of MX, where M is mainly vanadium, X is mainly nitrogen and up to 8-10 wt % of M23C6 and/or M7C3 of carbides.
EFFECT: steel possesses high physical-mechanical and operational properties.
