FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains, wt %: 0.08-0.19 C, 0.16≤C+N≤0.28, 0.1-1.5 Si, 0.1-2.0 Mn, 13.0-15.4 Cr, 0.01-1.8 Ni, 0.01-1.3 Mo, to 0.7 V maximally, possible, S at amount up to 0.25S, and also, possible, Ca and O at amounts to 0.01 Ca, to 0.01 O, iron and unavoidable impurities - the rest. Also, micro-structure of steel in state hardened with quenching corresponds to martensite containing to 30 vol. % of ferrite. Procedure for production of steel consists in production of steel, in hot treatment of steel ingot in interval of temperature 1100-1300°C, in quenching by steel cooling, in double tempering steel during 2 hours at temperature 510-650°C.
EFFECT: raised mechanical properties, hardenability, corrosion resistance and ability to buffing.
