FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: cut rectangular or square section of eye tissue is carefully straightened. Two opposite edges are matched end-to-end with the sclera outside and fastened with one stitch using an atraumatic needle with a 3/00-5/00 thread, forming a tissue pipe which is placed perpendicularly on the base. Filling is then carried out.
EFFECT: use of the disclosed method enables to maintain the natural proportion of eye tissue, having different density, at the filling phase and therefore ensuring quality microscopic examination.
