FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves making scleral visor near limb as thick as ½ of sclera thickness in the iris root detachment fixation zone. Corneal paracentesis is done in the zone opposite to the detachment zone. Cannula or injection needle is introduced through the paracentesis into the anterior chamber to meet needle with thread. Iris root is sutured. Needle with thread having an end placed in cannula or injection needle lumen of contrary direction is brought outside through the paracentesis. Then the needle and thread are turned and introduced with its sharp tip into the anterior chamber through the corneal paracentesis suturing detached iris edge in reverse direction for making a stitch using injection needle or cannula moving in contrary direction as supporting member. The needle and thread are brought to the scleral bed surface and thread ends are fixed with knot.

EFFECT: prevented thread escaping or cutting events; enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of postoperative complications.
