FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: package transformer substation of "Tower" type has a shape of a latticed tetrahedral support, which performs functions of an anchor support to connect high and low voltage lines. The inner volume of the support is used to install a substation comprising three collapsible sections, where high-voltage and low-voltage electric equipment is installed. In the substation centre along its whole height there is a vent arranged, design to strengthen a draft of an air flow, which cools a transformer and other equipment, and in winter time it makes it possible to use warm air to heat instruments. Doors in substation sections are arranged so that they create safe and comfortable sites for its service and repair. At the same time losses of electric energy and costs for its operation are reduced. The substation may be manufactured at a factory and used as a terminal or a double-ended one.

EFFECT: lower cost of construction, increased reliability of power supply and electric safety level.
