FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: steel support of a power transmission line comprises a foundation, a support pillar, a section of latticed type and a ladder. The support pillar consists of sections in the form of triangular prisms, every of which is made of latticed planes connected at the right angle in the vertical plane by means of angles installed with shelves to outside, where holes are made for bolts, at the same time on the inner side of latticed planes, on their upper half, there are sectional ladder and transition sites designed to install and operate the support. Also the method is described to install a steel support of the power transmission line.
EFFECT: increased bearing capacity and resistance to side horizontal impacts.
