FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: mobile terminal receives, on a first downlink channel, control information indicating to the mobile terminal whether paging information is to be received, and scheduling information for receiving paging information if the control information indicates availability of paging information which must be received by that mobile terminal. The mobile terminal receives paging information on a second downlink channel in accordance with the received scheduling information.
EFFECT: simple operation of a mobile terminal and efficient use of mobile terminal resources.
