FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in the fact that lupine seeds are disinfected by means of their heating. Seeds are heated to the specified temperature with convective heat supply in a coolant heated up to the necessary temperature. The coolant with the relative humidity of 30-40% is blown through a layer of seeds with thickness that does not exceed 0.15-0.20 m. Seeds in the coolant flow are soaked at the achieved temperature for 1.5-2.0 hours. The coolant temperature is maintained at the level defined according to the following ratio: Topt = (123.9…125.0) - 0.021W0 3 + 0.806W0 2 - 11.28W0 , where W0 - initial moisture of seeds, % ; Topt - optimal temperature of coolant with its relative humidity within the limits of 30-40%, °C.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce power inputs by 35-40%, to increase technological process reliability with provision of practically full disinfection of seeds against anthracnose provided that sowing properties of seeds are preserved.
