FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the agriculture field, in particular, to a quail breeding, namely - to Japanese quail eggs production. The method envisages introducing a feed supplement represented by the Cordyceps saprophyte fungi grain spawn into the ration in an amount of 1-1.4% of poultry body weight, which is done twice: during 7 days, starting 17-19 days before onset of laying and since the tenth day after it.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce traumatism of the Japanese quail hen reproductive system to achieve synchronisation of the egg-laying process and increase egg nutritional value.
