SUBSTANCE: invention relates to poultry industry and can be used to grow japanese quail breed. Method involves feeding under production conditions of quails layer hens during laying with selenium in form of Selenium Ist preparation in dose of 125 g/t of fodder and iodine in form of preparation Ioddar-Zn in dose of 62.5 g/t of fodder.
EFFECT: invention increases gross output of eggs, egg production on primary and average layer, intensity of laying and reduce fodder cost.
