FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing articles from polymer composite materials by centrifugal method and may be used in fabrication of plain bearings. Polymer composition made up of binder and antifriction fillers are loaded into metal sleeve to be rotated to produce antifriction coat so that filler layers are formed over the width of said coat. Bearing is formed layer-by-layer and, depending upon particular layer, polymer composition based on epoxy binder and fillers required for said layer is loaded into said metal sleeve pretreated by antistick composition. Process conditions are selected to allow uniform distribution of filler over the layer and to form each layer of the bearing. Besides, composition of every next layer is loaded when previous layer is partially hardened. Proposed bearing may have unlimited number of functional layers with different configuration.
EFFECT: longer life and higher reliability of bearing.
