FIELD: molding polymer articles by centrifugal method; manufacture of sliding bearings.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes loading the polymer composition in form of binder and anti-friction fillers in metal bush followed by molding the anti-friction coat at rotation of metal bush for forming the layers of fillers in thickness of anti-friction coat by means of segregation. Filler of boundary layer is additionally introduced into polymer composition in form of coarse-dispersed metal powder at thermal expansion coefficient exceeding that of metal bush and specific gravity exceeding that of anti-friction fillers. Prior to segregation of anti-friction fillers, temperature and speed modes are set for forming the boundary layer from metal powder between metal bush and anti-friction coat. Use is made of bronze powder for aluminum bush; steel powder is used for bronze bush and powder of eutectic melt, nickel and iron for example is used for steel bush. Additional introduction of coarse-dispersed metal powder into polymer composition of boundary layer filler makes it possible to form structure of matrix as compacted porous layer of metal powder with polymer binder (pseudo-metal layer) since its thermal expansion coefficient exceeds that of metal bush, thus enhancing strength of adhesion of anti-friction coat with metal bush at temperature fluctuations both during manufacture and in the course of operation of bearing due to smoothing-out the difference in change of linear sizes of metal and polymer by pseudo-metal layer.
EFFECT: enhanced durability of bearing.
