FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: in compliance with first versions, aircraft model is blown with altitude tunnel airflow to simulate air flow rate via engines and power plant reversal jets. Hot gas is fed into reversal cambers of engine nacelle models to measure flow temperature therein. Ingress of reversal jets into engine nacelle model channel is defined from airflow temperature increase. In compliance with second version, flow total pressure in engine nacelle is measured in blowing aircraft model, and relative amplitude of inlet flow total pressure pulsations is calculated to define ingress of reversal jets into engine nacelle model channel. Proposed unit comprises runway simulation screen that may turn about vertical axis, aircraft model with receivers of inlet flow parameter transducers. Besides, proposed unit comprises appropriate appliance to set air flow rate from engine nacelles and gas source.
EFFECT: detecting ingress of reversal jets into air jet engine intake nozzles in thrust reversal and simulation of aircraft motion on runway.
