FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method for pneumatic conversion of body acceleration to velocity, where acceleration of inertial mass is converted to pressure, amplified and integrated. Analogue acceleration feedback on the whole acceleration range is used. The range of input pressure corresponding to the acceleration range is divided ito separate input pressure sections. The total output pressure range is functionally divided for all sections from the input pressure sections corresponding to acceleration sections. Based on upper and lower pressure threshold instructions, sections are successively switched on and off. Pressure is converted to frequency and then integrated with the code of the corresponding section to obtain velocity values. The device for pneumatic conversion body acceleration to velocity has a sensitive unit in form of a membrane adder with differential nozzles and an internal mass and a power amplifier, the input of which is connected to outputs of the membrane adder. The device also includes pneumatic repeaters with shift, which are connected to the output of the membrane adder with analogue feedback. Each of the said repeaters are connected by their output to the on/off valve, the number of which is equal to sections which divide the acceleration section, outputs thereof are connected to an upper and lower output pressure threshold relay, through pulsers of the latter to a bidirectial counter connected to an AND element, and inputs of on/off valves, and are connected to the amplifier of pressure sections, the output of which is connected through a jet generator to a counter which, together with the bidirectional counter, is connected to a computer.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring body velocity.
