SUBSTANCE: in order to determine the position of the object, the average slope of big sea waves is measured. The value of air temperature over the sea surface is determined. Spatial distribution of the local area with minimum values of reflected radar signals is analysed.

EFFECT: determining flight altitude of the object and distance between the object and the front of the anomaly on the sea surface, formed by the object through pseudo-sound waves.
