SUBSTANCE: improved method is proposed to carry out a random access procedure, in which a network receives at least one packet of data access, in order to make it possible for the network to evaluate the received synchronisation of an upperlink, at the same time the access data packet comprises at least a preamble and sends information for the response to at least this one access data packet, while the terminal configures at least one access data packet, comprising at least a preamble, and sends at least this one access data packet in order to make it possible for the network to at least evaluate the received synchronisation of the upperlink.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of upperlink synchronisation estimate.
