SUBSTANCE: procedure for arbitrary terminal accessing is improved by enabling a mobile terminal to correctly map signature indices to periodically shifted Zadoff-Chu sequences when involved cells support high-speed mobility by notifying the mobile terminal whether cell mobility is high-speed.

EFFECT: simple and accurate determination of frequency error, which enables use of the same sequence structure for low-speed as well as high-sped units of user equipment.
