FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crop sector and may be used in wheat selection. The method consists in making an initial sample of population, for this purpose mass of population component seeds is determined, seeds of population components are taken in equal parts by quantity of seeds and coloured in different colours. Then they are filled into a movable cylinder with its subsequent rotation around the transverse axis with rotation frequency of 20-30 rotations per minute with its simultaneous shaking with shaking frequency of 20-30 times per minute for 2-3 minutes. Besides, mass of the initial sample is calculated according to the following formula: M=∑5×kn×mn, where M - mass of initial sample of population for sowing of 10 m2, expressed in grams; kn - relative portion of selection line plants; mn - mass of 1000 seeds of n selection line, expressed in grams; 5 - constant coefficient, which is introduced to produce mass of the initial sample of population seeds per 10 m2 at the optimal norm of sowing that makes 5 million germinating seeds per hectare. The method is realised with the help of a device, comprising a platform, where an electric motor, a worm gear, a bearing unit are serially installed. At the same time a shaft is connected to the worm gear via a coupling, and the shaft is arranged with the possibility to transfer rotation from the worm gear. The shaft is located in a bearing unit, and a fork with a slot is fixed at its end. A L-shaped lever is installed into the slot with the help of an axis. The axis is arranged with the possibility of turn transfer to the L-shaped lever by the angle of 30-45°. A bearing is pressed at the smaller end of the L-shaped lever. Between the fork and the L-shaped lever there is a spring fixed. At the same time at the larger end of the L-shaped lever there is a movable cylinder fixed with the help of a yoke with a screwed-in cover.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to ensure high-quality mixing of seeds when forming the initial sample of original seeds when forming multilinear brands, brand mixtures and brand populations with the specified genetic structure, to eliminate manual labour, to increase adaptability of a wheat crop when cultivating multilinear brands, brands, brand mixtures and brand populations, and also to ensure ecological purity and to increase stability of grain crops to unfavourable conditions of environment effect without application of chemical preparations and mineral fertilisers.
