FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely, to forage preparation devices. Proposed device comprises mixing chamber, loading hatch, and encased mixing screw. Note here that screw case is divided into top and bottom sections for mixing vanes on screw shaft to be arranged there between. Dome breaking vanes are arranged at mixing chamber bottom. Mixing chamber used single-flight screw while mixing chamber vanes are arranged vertically staggered and bent for 10-30°. One of dome-breaking vanes is twice as long as other vanes. Mixing chamber is provided with unloading screw conveyor, hinged shutter, and is jointed with mixing spiral-vane conveyor, its vane being made up of round section rod. Said rod is attached to three lines of cylindrical vanes arranged in 120°-spacing in crosswise plate on lengthwise shaft of mixing conveyor. Casing inner surface is provided with plastic rings. Dry forage feed systems are made up of accumulation bins with vaned drum feeders and proportioning bins with vaned drum proportioners. Proportioning bins are provided with strain gages and rotary shutters. Bin discharge holes are closed by perforated screens, their lines being turned relative to horizontal line through 10-40°. Additive feed system is made up of bin provided with cover and rotary shutter arranged at bin bottom, proportioning bin design being identical to above described one.
