METHOD OF TREATING BENIGN PROSTATIC HYPERPLASIA Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B17/00

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine in particular urology and can be applied for treatment of benign hyperplasia of prostate gland. For this purpose retropublic access is realised. After that two semilunar cuts on anterior-lateral surfaces of prostate gland are made with transection of surgical capsule of prostate until adenomatous tissues are exposed. After that, clear visualisation of layer between adenomatous knots and surgical capsule of gland is performed. Then, step-by-step adenomatous knots are prepared separately at first from internal side from urethra and then from the other sides by dissector. Separation of knots from ventral surface is carried out by forefinger, after removal of knots cuts of surgical capsule are sewn by interrupted sutures, prevesical space is drained and wound is sewn layer by layer.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to prevent intra- and post operational complications in form of bleeding, strictures, reactionary ejaculation, lingering dysuria due to preservation of prostatic part of urethra, to provide smooth post-operational period and preserve normal urodynamics.
