METHOD OF RECOVERYING MOTOR FUNCTIONS OF PATIENTS UNABLE TO MOVE AND KEEP POSE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61F5/00 A61H1/00

Abstract RU 2422119 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, neurology and conductive therapy - kinesitherapy, to methods of medical-social rehabilitation of patients with reversible and poorly reversible brain injuries, who require recovery of cognitive and motor functions. Invention can be used for training muscles, ligaments and joints. Method includes diagnostics of strength qualities of all muscles, general way patients feel, postural stability, patient's ability to positioning. Training starts from stronger muscles and ends with the weakest one. Carried out are detailed study of movement models and their elements, selection of initial positions for their realisation and sequence, corresponding to ontogenesis of movement development, with application of spirally-diagonal motor models, with alternating work of muscles of flexors and extensors, with sufficient resistance on the way of their movement, which is produced by assistant or due to patient's body weight, in accordance with invention formula. Trainings aimed at keeping patient's pose and making movement models are carried out in suit, made on the basis of altitude-compensating flight suit, and without it.

EFFECT: method ensures reduction of rehabilitation time, increase of efficiency of motor functions recovery in comparison with carrying out trainings without detailed exercises.
