FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas turbine engines, in particular, to production of compressor vanes and those of return-circuit rings. Proposed method comprises forge-rolling of billet with single-sided convex surface in lengthwise direction and segment in crosswise direction. For vanes with constant root lengthwise section, single-sided convex surface is made as cylindrical surface while for with variable root lengthwise section it is made as taper surface. Vane biller section of both said cross sections is approximated by circle arc crossing three reference points, extreme of which are located on edges of billet while third one is located in space there between. Radius of said circle arc is selected to provide minimum difference of rate of metal efflux from strain point along opposite sides of center of gravity of cross section in direction of gorge-rolled billet.

EFFECT: higher quality of vanes, reliable process.
