FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and equipment for assembly of compound article in parallel system of products preparation. Set of subcomponents and, at least, one basic component are fed into parts loading zone for assembly of said compound article. Set of subcomponents and, at least, one basic component are automatically carried into one of computer-aided assembly stations by relevant transfer means. Set of subcomponents and, at least, one basic component are fed are automatically assembled by means of said computer-aided assembly station. Computer-aided assembly station incorporates, at least, one computer-controlled tool change arm to perform set of subcomponent assembly jobs on said basic component whereat each assembly job is performed by relevant tool selected from set of tools. Compound article is carried by conveyor system to unloading station.

EFFECT: higher efficiency smaller production area.
