FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: control valve for hot gas flow rate consists of case with inlet and outlet branches. A seat with delivery outlet is installed into the outlet branch. Lugs with coaxial cylinder orifices are made in the seat on both sides from the delivery outlet. Axis of these orifices coincides with axes of cylinder surface of the seat and of a cylinder gate coaxial to the seat. In the gate there is made the delivery output together with the delivery output of the seat forming a controlled delivery section of the valve. The shaft is connected with the gate via a cardan coupling. Relative to the seat, the gate is installed with a circular gap; journals are made on the gate on both sides from the delivery output. Diameter of the journals is considerably smaller, than diameter of the gate in a zone of its delivery output. The journals of the gate are fitted into the lugs of the seat, where there are made similar and symmetrical slits. Width of a slit is equal to 0.9…0.95 of value of diameter of cylinder orifices of seat lugs. Corresponding shears are made on the journals of the gate. Diameter of the journals is calculated by specified ratio.
EFFECT: reduced value of hinge moment, reduced force for valve drive.
