FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gas flow regulator contains a casing with inlet and outlet main and additional nozzles, in the output pipes of which, accordingly, saddles with flow apertures that come into contact with corresponding flaps along reciprocal cylindrical surfaces are installed. Main damper is kinematically connected to the shaft connected to the actuator. Mutual cylindrical surfaces of the main shutters and seats are aligned with the shaft. Additional flap is kinematically connected to the main flap on the side opposite to that of the main flap with the shaft. Reciprocal cylindrical surfaces of additional flaps and seats are aligned with the shaft. Additional flap on the side of the main flap has a tide, the diameter of which is smaller than the diameter of the cylindrical hole of the main seat and is larger than the diameter of the cylindrical hole of the additional seat.
EFFECT: invention provides for: redistribution of gas flow, reduction of unproductive gas flow through closed areas of saddle outlets, increased reliability of the regulator operation, linearity of the flow characteristic.
