FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves remote measurement of spectral characteristics of light flux reflected from the underlying surface and which passes through the atmosphere twice, in oxygen (O2) absorption band of 1.264-1.275 mcm and in carbon dioxide gas (CO2) absorption band of 1.600-1.611 mcm, calculation of attenuation energy of the light flux in the selected bands ΔW(O2) and ΔW(CO2) relative energy of the standard (Planck) of the light flux in the same bands, determination of concentration of impurity gas (CO2) using the relationship: where O2[%] is concentration of oxygen in the atmosphere, equal to 21%.
EFFECT: invention increases rapidness, globality, accuracy and statistical stability of the end result.
