FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: systems and methods are described, which assist in realisation of pilot channel optimisation schemes for high-speed communications data transfers. In various illustrative realisations, by means of a model basic station, monitoring may be carried out, as well as management of pilot channel operations for one or more interacting wireless terminals (for instance, user equipment), so that one or more criteria of capacity of one or more interacting wireless terminals may be illustratively modified depending on one or more selected working conditions of pilot channel. In an illustrative operation, the model basic station may participate in one or more selected operations of pilot channel management as a part of pilot channel optimisation, comprising a technique of jump detection, execution of capacity management at another channel, different from DPCCH channel, participation in capacity management with a delay, participation in capacity management of soft service transfer in case with an amplified pilot channel, and solving ambiguities in solving messages that originate as a result of pilot channel amplification.

EFFECT: improved data transfer at lower speeds.
