FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: preamble PRACH is sent after acceptance of AICH, the transmitted power level is assessed for UE prior to transfer along E-DCH. For transfer along E-DCH a shortened measurement period may be used to report measurement to UPH. In particular, the shortened period of measurement may make below 100 milliseconds. UPH measurement may be transferred on the basis of acceptance of AICH/E-AICH and transfer of a configured number of radio signal frames via DPCCH. UPH measurement may be based on a power transmitted prior to actual data transfer. Besides, UPH measurement may be included into a part of planning information in a MAC heading.

EFFECT: invention provides for upperlink capacity reserve communication in process of transfer along E-DHC in a CELLFACH condition.
