FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics. Device for measuring muscle strength of extensors and flexors of lower extremity contains frame and dynamometre. On frame fixed are handle, brackets, through which passed is slider with prop, dynamometre with scale and runner, as well as plate-guide with protractor. On protractor with ability to move fixed is pointer and reference points are marked. Reference point is also marked on plate-guide. Slider is made with ability to move together with bridge, moved out element and dynamometre runner, which is connected with said bridge by means of moved out element.
EFFECT: invention ensures measurement of muscle strength of flexors and extensors of foot and shin, muscle strength being estimated not on the basis of subjective sensations of examiner, but on the basis of indices readings of calibrated mechanical device, which is mobile, one-piece, convenient in application.
