FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device of evaporative cooling, comprising a pair of heat-conducting plates arranged in general as parallel to each other with gaps between them, besides, separating elements isolate the plates from each other and form primary and secondary channels of flow between the plates. Inlet channels are connected to primary channels, and outlet channels outgo from both primary and secondary channels. There is also a system of water distribution to supply water to secondary channels, so that the primary air flow via the primary channels could be cooled by means of heat transfer along the plates to ensure water evaporation into the secondary air flow that passes via the secondary channels.
EFFECT: improved heat transfer between fluid media.
