FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and is intended for elimination of oroantral communication of maxillary sinus and oral cavity. Trapezium-like cut from the side of oral cavity vestibule in area of oroantral communication is performed. Maxillary sinusotomy is carried out. Pathologically changed tissues are removed from sinus. Hemostasis is performed. Oroantral communication is separated into two layers: the first layer - internal lining is formed by free connective-tissue transplant, taken from palate area, which is placed on defect region and fixed with interrupted sutures, the second layer is made by displacement and fixation by means of sutures of mucous-periosteal flap from cheek.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce risk of inflammatory complications, avoid reoperations.
