FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be applied to closing oroantral connection of maxillary sinus with oral cavity. Trapezoidal mucous-periosteum flap is cut out from vestibular side of alveolar appendix of upper jaw on projection of oroantral connection. Maxillary sinusotomy is performed in accordance with indications. Pathologically changed tissues and foreign bodies are removed from sinus. Edges of oroantral connection are refreshed, curettage and antiseptic processing of alveolus of absent tooth are carried out. Oroantral connection is delimited in two layers: first layer -internal lining is formed with covering mouth of alveolus with TachoComb membrane, second layer is created by placement of mucous-periosteum flap onto defect and fixation by interrupted and "П"-shaped sutures.
EFFECT: due to application of internal lining of orontral connection of TachoComb membrane method makes it possible to reduce risk of development of recurrences of oroantral connections and avoid re-operations.
