FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry. What is offered is sports dental splints made of a polymer structural material covering an upper dentition, a portion of a hard palate and vestibular clivus of alveolar bones up to a transitory fold of vestibule of mouth, and lower tuberosities and cutting edges; the splints are made of the polymer structural material of hardness 75 Shore units A, tensile strength 170 kgs/cm2 and more, and tear strength 50 kgs and more, vestibular surface thickness 6 mm, and occlusive and palatal surface thickness 4 mm; frontal segment of the splint has an additional layer of the structural material of the thickness 2 mm and hardness 90 Shore units A.
EFFECT: higher strength and performance properties of the sports dental splints.
