FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises billet passage and holder with several tools arranged concentrically to rotate about holder, and sleeve driven for hogging in, means of relative displacement between holder and sleeve, and hogging-in feed drive to convert relative displacement between holder and sleeve into displacement of tools. Relative movement between the holder and a sleeve is formed by a concentric relative rotation around the axis of rotation of the holder, while means of relative movement are made up of gearbox, including drive hear with first helical engagement in mesh with the ring gear sleeve and located on the drive shaft and drive gear fitted on drive shaft and provided with second helical engagement oriented in opposite direction relative to first helical engagement, and means for controlled axial movement of the shaft relative to the sleeve and/or holder.
EFFECT: higher cutting accuracy.
