FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, otolaryngology, and can be used for treatment of chronic rhinites: allergic, vasomotor and hypertrophic. For this purpose impact by laser ray is performed. Butt end irradiator of neodymium laser is introduced into nasal cavity and placed at the distance from mucosa of pathologically changed nasal turbinate equal to diameter of butt end irradiator at angle 90 degrees. Laser impact is started from anterior edge of pathologically changed nasal turbinate by contactless pulse method with wavelength 532 nm power 6.5 W/cm2 with pulse frequency 5 Hz with pulse length 55 ms. One point is subjected to impact by 50 pulses. Distance between points is 5 mm. Total number of points is 4.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to reduce volume of mucosa of nasopharynx and nasal cavity in place of laser ray impact, which results in increase of nasal cavity and recovery of nasal respiration and smell for long period of time.
