FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disk mill tackle and may be used in pulp and paper industry in fine milling. Proposed mill comprises rotor and stator disks with working annular surface separated into sectors provided with straight parallel knives alternating with interknife grooves, said knives being provided with working and idle side walls with cutting edge of one of said knives being aligned with axis of symmetry of given sector. Rotor and stator disks feature mirror arrangement. Profile on interknife bottom features shape of circle touching working wall and intersecting idle wall that has diameter equal to d=(1.25…1.4)·s, where (1.25…1.4) is factor overlapping knife idle side wall; s is groove width.
EFFECT: higher milling intensity and quality.
