FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method is intended for producing cold-rolled foil for flexible printed boards from copper and copper alloys that feature high mechanical properties. It comprises preprocessing and cold rolling. Nanostructured foil from copper and copper-based alloys is produced by means of intensive plastic deformation, several stages of specified reduction at every stage to preset thickness of foil. Annealing is performed at temperature below that of recrystallisation after second stage of rolling. To allow sufficient process toughness at second rolling stage, intermediate annealing between first and second rolling is permissible.
EFFECT: higher strength of foil.
