FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes manufacturing of the sheet blank out of cast semi-product by cold transverse extrusion by single operation with deformation ratio 95-98% and further cold rolling of the sheet blank to thickness 50-10 mcm with total reduction 95-99%. During extrusion together with crushing of the cast structure of the blank the process of dynamical recrystallization is simultaneously performed, and fine grain structure is provided in blank with average grain size 5-10 microns. Besides, the blank has texture where angle between normal to plane of grain base and normal to plane of strap is from 0° to 30°.
EFFECT: features of structure and texture of the blank ensure its high deformability with further cold rolling, thus increasing production effectiveness of the foil manufacturing process due to decreasing of the process operations number.
