FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to arc plug welding and may be used in repair and production. Proposed unit consists of cartridge 1 with electrode wire, plug welding device 4, jig 11 and magnet 16. Plug welding device 4 is equalised nearby part 14 with jig 11 with its top part made up of insulating plate 12 having holes to receive current feed tip 9 of plug welding device 4 and its bottom part being current feed section that repeats the shape of extra part 13. Jig 11 retains extra part 13 that extends beyond it bottom part to make electric a contact with part 14 while jig proper is retained on part by magnet 16.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of repair, reduced heat consumption and part deformation.
