FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: heating and evaporation of working medium which is then supplied for expansion to turbine is performed in closed cycle by using heat energy to mechanical energy conversion method. After turbine the working medium is sorbed in sorbent, condensed and supplied for repeated heating and evaporation. At that, during condensation of working medium some portion of working medium is sorbed in sorbent having hydrophilic properties. Pressure below 0.1 MPa is maintained during condensation, and sorption of working medium is performed during increase of mechanical load on turbine.
EFFECT: method will allow increasing dynamic and manoeuvring performance of conversion systems of heat energy to electric energy, reducing the flow rate of working medium, reducing the costs for pumping of working medium and losses due to its insufficient expansion in turbine, and improving economic properties of power plants and power supply systems.
