FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in remote control of defectoscope-projectile on base of data received with pump stations from board of defectoscope-projectile by means of radio communication in metre range of wave length of H11 type along pipeline. The pump stations are arranged along a route of the pipeline; the defectoscope-projectile travels between the pump stations along the pipeline in a flow of transported gas and transmits data on allowed working range of wave length. The device for defectoscope-projectile control consists of three sets of receiving-transmitting radio facilities positioned by one set on two pump stations and the defectoscope-projectile. They receive information from the defectoscope-projectile, process it, and generate and transmit commands for control over the defectoscope-projectile. There are established requirements to placement of aerials and their directional diagrams for all sets of the receiving-transmitting facilities.
EFFECT: reduced time for receiving information on condition of pipeline and defectoscope-projectile; control over defectoscope-projectile during its motion in pipeline, expanded functionality of defectoscope-projectile.
