FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: preliminary water separator to steam turbine plants for separation of water from working steam (Sw) from high pressure steam turbine includes supply pipeline passing via initial section of steam bypass pipeline; at that, both pipelines are separated from each other with a slot through which water together with transport steam (St) is supplied to housing. According to invention, in inner space of housing of preliminary water separator and outside supply pipeline there located are channel-shaped built-in elements, the inlet hole of which is offset in relation to end of supply pipeline opposite direction (Sw) of flow of working steam; at that, channel-shaped built-in elements pass before steam bypass pipeline after its bend and are connected there to steam bypass pipeline; at that, flow of transport steam through channel-shaped built-in elements is supplied back to working steam in steam bypass pipeline after its bend; at that, pressure drop appears between outflow point of transport steam from working steam flow and point after bend of steam bypass pipeline.
EFFECT: higher economy.
