FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises laser source with its radiation splitted by light splitter into two beams. Each beam is reflected by appropriate reflector moving along optical axis by means of drive to pass said light splitter and get to photo cell input. Photo cell input is connected to ADC input. ADC output is connected to computer input to display measured data on its monitor. Additionally, interferometer comprises calibration channel incorporating reference laser source, three extra different-length arms and fast switch to connect relevant arm to interferometer.
EFFECT: faster measurement, expanded dynamic range.
