FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: sample of analysed material is loaded with cycles of damped oscillations of mechanical load; during repeated cycles level of loads is changed. Damped oscillations in a cycle are alternately performed at different ends of the sample; during repeated cycles there are changed levels and ratios of loads on different ends of the sample. The device for analysis of damping properties of materials consists of a base, of mounted on it one stationary and two movable sample grippers, of rotation axis, of a rod set on rotation axis, of a load secured on the rod, and of a device for connection of the rod with movable grippers. According to the invention the device for connection of the rod with the movable grippers is made in form of a rocker arm positioned on axis of the rod and rigidly connected to it. The movable grippers are secured on different ends of the rocker arm. The stationary gripper is fixed on rod axis. Rod axis turns relative to the base. An arrester of rod axis turn is located between axis and the base; also, the rod is flexible.
EFFECT: analysis of damping properties on one sample with application of load to different ends of sample.
