SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. The proposed device for movement of a flax ribbon includes a stream formed by one side edge 1 of a flat endless belt 2, equipped with fingers 3. As the belt 2 envelops input 4 and output 5 pulleys and diverging rollers 6, the edge 1 is a convex curve, formed by two identical coupled sections of cubic parabolas with origin of coordinates in points that correspond to points of flax stalks ribbon input B into the stream and output D from the stream.
EFFECT: invention provides for production of flax ribbon even in thickness without warp and extension of stalks, making it possible to form high-quality rolls from it.
