FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural production and may be used in post-harvesting treatment of legume grasses seeds to detect grinding and extent of seeds rubbing during operation of clover threshers. The method includes extraction of a sample of rubbed clover hulls with weight of at least 100 g, its separation in the sieve with round holes of appropriate size into coarse and fine fractions. The coarse fraction with non-rubbed pods is rubbed, and free seeds are extracted from it. Free seeds are also extracted from fine fraction. Free seeds from both fractions are weighed. A batch is selected from free seeds of fine fraction, and its analysis is carried out, as well as calculation for grinding. After detection of free seeds weights in fine and coarse fractions, extent of seeds rubbing is calculated.

EFFECT: method reduces labour intensiveness and increases accuracy of clover thresher operation quality indices.
