SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for making coffee, tea, etc. The device (100) for making coffee or tea, which comprises the following components: a body (1); a reservoir (2) for water; a filtering device (3), which includes a filter holder (4), a movable element (6), installed in the water reservoir (2), besides, location of which depends on water level in the water reservoir, and a lever (5), rested against the body (1) and retaining the filter holder (4) at the same time, besides, one end of the lever (5) is fixed on the movable element (6), and a device (20) for control of strength to produce the specified quantitative ratio between the water volume in the water reservoir (2) and quantity of filtered substance in the filter holder (4), at the same time the device for strength control (20) comprises a control block (22) to control water level in the reservoir (2), to develop a controlling force (21), applied during operation by the movable element (6) to the lever (5).

EFFECT: proposal of a device, which is a simple device of strength control to produce the specified quantitative ratio between water volume in a water reservoir and quantity of filtered substance in a filter holder.
