FIELD: explosives.

SUBSTANCE: explosive marking method is implemented by means of readout device and microchip which is used as marking additive. Readout device includes master generator, power amplifiers, circulator, horn receiving-transmitting antenna, phase detector, recording unit, amplitude limiter, and light and sound beacons. Microchip includes piezoelectric crystal with aluminium thin-film interdigital transducer applied to its surface and connected to microstrip antenna, and set of deflectors. Interdigital transducer of acoustic surface waves (ASW) includes two comb-type systems of electrodes, buses which connect electrode of each of the combs to each other. Buses are connected to microstrip antenna.

EFFECT: higher reliability of detection of an explosive and enlarged functional capabilities of the method by determining the type of detected explosive.
