FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: location is carried out using a radio-frequency reader 1, a radio-frequency label 15 for the storage place of the object and a radio-frequency label 21 for the object. The radio-frequency reader 1 has a drive oscillator 2, a frequency converter 3, a narrow-band filter 4, an adder 5, a duplexer 6, a transceiving antenna 7, band-pass filters 8 and 9, phase detectors 10 and 11, a code comparator unit 12, a switch 13 and a recording unit 14. The radio-frequency label 15 for the storage place of the object has a microstrip transceiving antenna 16, electrodes 17, buses 18 and 19 and a set 20 of reflectors. The radio-frequency label 21 the object has a microstrip transceiving antenna 22, electrodes 23, buses 24 and 25 and a set 26 of reflectors.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining an object and its storage place by using two frequencies, radio-frequency labels working on surface acoustic waves and phase-shift keyed signals.
