FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure of conversion of heat energy into mechanical work consists in using substance transiting from liquid state to compressed gas as working substance. Also, working substance is in a working chamber, while heat energy is transferred to working substance with is successive expansion. Generated energy of working substance expansion is converted into mechanical energy. Working substance in all phases of thermo-dynamic cycle stays in a closed and completely sealed working chamber. Additionally, expansion of working substance occurs at supply of heat flow directly to working substance, while working substance is compressed at supply of cooling flow to working substance. Working substance is always effected with external pressure exceeding pressure of working substance at minimal temperature of thermo-dynamic cycle; this temperature should be less, than critical temperature of working substance, while working substance is thermo-isolated from the working chamber.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of machine operation and of conversion of heat energy into mechanical energy.
